Who invented myProcurementCube?

Hi! My name is Armand Brevig and I am the inventor of myProcurementCube. It’s an effective and lean Procurement product that unlocks hidden business value for your organisation. It does that by delivering Value for Money, Total Cost Control and Enhanced Competitiveness.

The idea is based on my +20 years procurement, consulting, sales and project management experience. I saw how large multinationals derived enormous value from strategic sourcing approaches.

Small and mid-cap companies are the growth engines of our economy. The more they are strengthened, the better for society overall. So, I wanted to create an easily accessible way for those companies to quickly develop world class procurement capabilities. Hence myProcurementCube was born.

I wanted to create an easily accessible way for your small and mid cap companies to develop world class procurement capabilities

A key aspect of myProcurementCube is that the capabilities will be transferred to your organisation. I first saw the power of the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model when I worked for the United Nations. Later, when working in big pharma, I led a project to develop and implement an extended version of the Build-Operate-Transfer model in the IT services outsourcing space.

I saw the power of the Build-Operate-Transfer model when working for the UN and Big Pharma. Now you can benefit from it too

Not only do I understand the BOT model, I also know how to impart knowledge. My experience as an effective business coach, mentor and trainer ensures effective capabilities transfer to your staff.

The first thing we do when building your personalised myProcurementCube is to analyse the dynamics of your business environment, past spend patterns and business value drivers. The thorough training (MBA), I got in strategic analysis at Canada’s number one business school is a great foundation for creating impactful strategies for you. Combine that with my experience developing strategies for both small and blue-chip companies, and you’ve got a winning formula.

Developing effective strategies and supplier relationships requires creativity. Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way. A fresh pair of eyes, experienced in looking at challenges from many angles is very helpful. Having worked and studied in Denmark, Zambia, Canada and the UK, I have seen first hand that there are many ways of approaching challenges. This ability to adopt different perspectives infuses fresh thinking into myProcurementCube.

My diverse background brings creativity and fresh thinking to your procurement challenges

This diversity, combined with my export oriented M.Eng. background, has also given me valuable cultural and business understanding of Scandinavian, European, Southern African and North American markets.

When planning to implement your strategy I draw on my experience leading cross-cultural projects in international organisations and companies.

Getting more value from suppliers almost always involves some sort of negotiation. I have negotiated with suppliers for almost 20 years. While I am a Procurement Leader, I have also worked as a Director of Sales. The fact that I have sat on both sides of the negotiation table is a tremendous benefit to your company. My unique insights in terms of motivations and tactics of suppliers’ sales teams are used to your advantage.

Insights gained from having sat on both sides of the negotiating table will be used to your full advantage

Over the years I have successfully accessed additional supplier capabilities, innovation and creativity by developing long term strategic supplier relationships. When building your personalised myProcurementCube I will do the same for you, to enhance your company’s competitiveness.

Finally, my many years’ experience with benefits tracking and developing intuitive score cards means that you will easily be able to track relevant metrics, including Return on Procurement.

I will create superior value for your company and put in place an effective system, so you can track it
